Administration fee: S$500
This fee is only payable only when the prospective fellow accepts the offer of fellowship by the hospital. Please note that there are other fees to pay as well, for example S$300 to Singapore Medical Council for registration, S$455 for malpractice insurance and approximately S$ 360 to the Ministry of Manpower for work permit. There is also visa fees to consider.

Is there an opportunity for the AO Fellows to scrub in? Yes
Is there any additional / special license required to scrub in? The Fellow will need to apply to the Singapore Medical Council for a temporary registration (or T-reg) so that he or she can scrub in. This application process can take up to 9 months. Please approach the SGH Postgraduate Medical Institute (pgmi.fellowships@sgh.com.sg) for more information on the details of SMC registration process.
