The department has a dedicated research group with a long tradition in outcome research for spinal pathologies. PD Dr. Anne Mannion, PhD and Dr. Fabio Galbusera, PhD lead the group and are very dedicated to support our projects.The inhouse spine registry with a prospective outcome data base was established in 2004, and represents the basis for most of our research projects. The clinical outcome for every patient in the database is followed for five years
