AOSPINE visiting fellows will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activity related to spinal pathology both in from orthopaedic and neurosurgical perspective. In addition to the possibility to observe various spinal procedures - both elective and emergency for the management of spinal degenerative disease, tumours (metastatic, intradural, intramedullary); deformity, trauma, infections etc they will participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Team Meetings which connect via teleconference orthopaedic spinal surgeons, neurosurgeons, very experienced radiologists, infections disease, physiotherapy, pain management, oncology. The hospitals are equiped with top of the range equipment, microscopes, spinal navigation (in RHH), intraoperative 3D xray, neurophysiological monitoring, intraoperative ultrasound, CUSA etc. They will develop connections with a very supportive and highly experienced team of spinal surgeons and will have the possibility to create long-lasting professional connections. Our spinal surgeons are recognised international speakers, actively involved in spinal education and in the activity of AOSPINE, EANS, BASS, SBNS, EUROSPINE etc
