We have a opportunities for research as the Royal Adelaide Hospital is tied in and has connections with the University of Adelaide. All spine surgeons in the unit have ties with other hospitals, institutions and hospitals- if the fellow wants to participate and see how different hospitals work. This is includes some surgeons working at a paediatric hospital. In terms of anterior surgery- the spine surgeons on the unit perform their own anterior and lateral access.
